Many young adults live and work in the Chaleur region there was no group or “network” to bring these youth together. Founding members of Synergies knew that it was time to act. Synergies Chaleur will have monthly social activities and a variety of events for all interests. Synergies Is the creation of an environment for young adults or the “young at heart” (19 and over) to provide meaningful social activities while providing an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Brings youth together to create a sense of community in the Chaleur region. Serves as a bilingual organization and members are free to speak in the language of their choice. Synergies operates on a system of respect for all ideas and appreciates everyone’s contributions. Synergies is not just for “young professionals” but for all young adults in the region. Whether you are a plumber, a carpenter, a lawyer or a student, you are welcome! The name Synergies Synergies is defined as the interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects. The more young adults that come together in the Chaleur region, the more positive change can be evoked. Logo conception Graphic artist extraordinaire Mike Goyette of Websolutions conceived the Synergies logo. The colour green was selected as it represented transformation, change, harmony, education and the joining of people together in groups. The circular image represents unity and the importance of working together. Leadership, culture, social, mentorship, personal and professional development are some of the facets that Synergies will focus on. There really is something for everyone at Synergies Chaleur.
